We are Marshall

Have you seen this movie? As a European, I don't understand too much about American football, but this movie caught my attention, maybe because there are so many interesting talents/strengths at work in Jack Lengyel (played by Matthew McConaughey) , the new coach who takes over after the whole football team dies in an airplane crash. What do you think are Lengyel's strongest talents?

Product Description from Amazon.com (Click on the Title of this Post to Learn More About this Movie)

Football is a game that knocks you down, then expects you to get back up. Life hit the West Virginia town of Huntington and its Marshall University even harder. When it did, Jack Lengyel came by to help pull them onto their feet by taking the job no one wanted: rebuilding the Marshall football program only months after a plane crash wiped out Marshall's beloved Thundering Herd. Matthew McConaughey portrays Lengyel, the energetic, compassionate coach of inexperienced players whose chances of victory are slim and none. They'll go with the slim. And as they do, their true-life story of heart, healing, and football will thrill and inspire you. It's game day. Time to play till the whistle blows!

Ok, let me break the ice here! In my oppinion, the coach Jack Lengyel in this movie demonstrates strong Woo, Restorative and Positivity talents, maybe also Maximizer or Developer. When no other coach accepted the invitation to become the new coach, he approaches the college president by his own initiative. What does attract him? I believe that this is a nice example of Restorative as a striving talent. And he uses Woo to build a relationship with new players, while using his Positivity to motivate them. There is also an element of Comand here and there, which is probably not very surprising for a football coach.
